Setting sail in 2003, geared in just a tiny little rowboat - we're pleased to say that eight years later, it looks likeViolent Green have officially conquered Brisbane's high seas. Following up the massive success of their first store, the forever-quirky Violent Green delivers us small town folks some good news: they've opened up a sister store in the Fortitude Valley. We like to think of it as the grungier, more boho little sister of the family).
Like entering an underground cave, the new store overwhelms with blissful (retail) escapism. Stocking some of the rarest threads from Stolen Girlfriends Club,Rittenhouse, Birthday Suit, Something Else, Ksubi and a sweet range from Pudel, Jack London, and Actual Pain for the boys - to mention but a few. Also in the VG fashion cave: all the cool kicks from Vivienne Westwood for Melissa, exclusive RAF [Simons] sneakers and sensible brogues by Red by Wolves for your modern dandy.
With another Violent Green on the block - it's comforting to know no matter what you need, there's a little cocoon on Ann Street where we can rest our heads and sleep easy.
